About GoDiego
Our History
GoDiego is a small real estate investment company based in Jacksonville, Florida. We also operate in several markets along the East-Coast, Gulf-Coast and Mid-West - but our main focus is JAX.
Our founder, Michael Moonan, lives in Jacksonville and started learning the ropes of the housing industry in 2009 and simultaneously built the company while working as a police officer. As business grew, he eventually left his career in law enforcement to focus on working with homeowners who need creative options to sell their properties.
It is important to note that we are NOT licensed as real estate agents or brokers. At GoDiego, we are the buyer! Because we are not agents, we do not charge any fees or commissions.
What Does GoDiego Offer?
Our goal at GoDiego is to help people who own properties that may not be right for the "open market". We will take over all the headaches and pay cash for the property.
If you have a complicated situation, we have the experience and network to help find a solution and to achieve your goal of getting rid of a headache property and getting cash instead.
We offer traditional Cash-Sale offers as well as a Lease-Back program where the seller gets the money from a sale, but then lives in the house as a renter.
Who Is Our Program For?
We believe in open communication and honesty in all of our transactions. To that goal, we do not claim to have the best solution for everyone, although, we do offer excellent options for many common situations.
Here are just a few of the situations where GoDiego can bring great value to a seller:
- The property needs expensive repairs and you prefer to sell "as-is"
- Selling with an agent would require many showings and have the potential for lots of wasted time and you don't want that risk
- The property is facing foreclosure, tax sale or has other liens attached
- The property is in probate or a similar situation where a sale requires court approval
- There are tenants in place (even bad tenants)
- You need to sell FAST!
- Agent fees would be too expensive
- Any other situation that has a complicating factor - we are confident that we can solve it!
- We offer "lease-back" options - Sell your house, get all the cash, but then remain living there as a tenant
